The student architect exists in a precursory realm to that of architectural practice. Often exempt from the confines of the “realistic,” the limits of creation become those of one’s imagination. Boundless creation — testing, adapting, and subsequent learning, where failure is not a setback but instead an integral part of the creative process — the student architect builds in a sandbox.

Written, designed, compiled, and edited by students of Georgia Tech with guidance from faculty advisors, Sandbox releases works digitally throughout semester-long thematic issue cycles with a limited print format release to end each.
